First time I ever cut hair: I somehow convinced my little brother to let me cut a chunk of his hair off. So we were probably 6 or 8, I panic and hide the chunk under the rug thinking no one would ever find it. It took a matter of hours for my mom to uncover the lock and guess what?? My brother NEVER ratted me out. Haha

Guilty pleasure: Fries, I don't care where they came from, I'll devour them. And MTV's catfish, I get so worked up with that show!

Grow up in small or big town: I grew up in a super tiny, country town. I knew from a young age I didn't like it, I wanted to be around other cultures and ideas. Plus you can only meet so many people in a tiny town, I love making new friends!

What one item would you bring on an island:
Probably my Yoda sleep mask. If I'm going to be stuck somewhere, at least I'll get a good night's rest.

Why do you love doing hair? There is an amazing feeling you get when you are in LOVE wit your hair-color. That feeling that you are unstoppable and nothing can bring you down. It's one of the happiest, most empowering feelings I have ever flt and I love giving that feeling to my guest.

When was the first time you ever cut hair? I was seven and fed up with hairstylist always cutting my bangs too short, so I took matters into my own hands using orange kitchen scissors. To my moms' surprise, I did a great job.

Why do you love doing hair?
After graduation from SFA I had a hard time finding the right direction for my career. During this time my friend took me to a salon where I received a beautiful hair makeover and i'll never forget how good I felt. I want to help people look and feel great!

When was the first time that you EVER cut hair?
My older brother was shaving his head before football, I must have been 8 or 9 and he let me shave a plaid design! I was so proud of it, until mom saw!

I love to cook, so my favorite food changes a lot. My most recent favorite is smoked meat.

I was the president of my choir! (Side note, I can't hold a note to save my life.) I was also in the drama club for 4 years, which could explain my loud voice!

I would want the means to travel anytime anywhere. My current travel dreams are to go to Ireland.

Do you have pets? Yes, I have a precious boy named Charlie who is a 120-pound baby.
